Because of tradition, we all infuse The Nativity and the Christmas Story with Western ideals. We think that Jesus was white, and born in a stable (barn). We think that on Christmas night there were immediately shepherds and "three kings" at the nativity scene while Josh Groban was singing "Oh Holy Night" in the background and the angels were singing the "Hallelujah Chorus."
